Mühlacker, 1 April 2026 – With a comprehensive range of certifications, Craiss Generation Logistik GmbH & Co. KG meets the highest international standards in the areas of quality and environmental management, information security, occupational health and safety, and energy efficiency. This confirms the logistics company’s commitment to embedding sustainable and responsible practices firmly within all its business processes.
"We consistently align our activities with the requirements of our customers and employees while continuously improving our processes. These certifications demonstrate that the standards we put into practice also meet international benchmarks," said Pascal Mroncz, Head of Sustainability at Craiss.
An integrated management system for quality, the environment and safety
Craiss relies on an integrated management system that combines the ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), ISO 27001 (information security) and ISO 50001 (energy) standards. This system forms the basis for transparent, efficient and sustainable processes throughout the company.
"Our certifications are more than just formal verification. They reflect our daily commitment to using resources efficiently, minimising risks and, at the same time, ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and employees," emphasised Mroncz.
Energy and environment
The expansion of renewable energy, the construction of new, energy-efficient buildings, and the use of electric vehicle fleets are helping to reduce the company's energy consumption in the long term. "We are reviewing all our locations to see what measures we can take – from peak load management to the integration of storage solutions," explained Mroncz.
Information security: resilience against cyber threats
Craiss is strengthening its resilience in the face of cyber threats with a centrally managed information security management system. 'We implement technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data across the entire group,' added Mroncz.
Occupational health and safety: focused on prevention
In accordance with ISO 45001, Craiss places particular emphasis on systematic risk assessment and preventive safety measures.
Quality management: continuous improvement
The logistics company's quality management system ensures that its processes are continuously reviewed, improved and adapted to market conditions. "We aim to flexibly and reliably respond to our customers' needs at all times. This certification confirms our commitment in that regard," said Mroncz.
Sarah Pflüger, Quality Manager/Sustainability Manager at Craiss, adds: "Our quality work thrives on the people who put it into practice on a daily basis. Only if everyone understands why certain standards are important can we breathe life into them and continuously improve them."
Group-wide standards and continuous further development
The measures implemented as part of the certification provide the basis for Craiss to establish uniform standards across the entire group. "We are constantly refining our management systems and use audits to specifically identify and implement areas for improvement," explained Pflüger.
Employees play a central role in this process: training formats, such as short learning videos, make the standards accessible to everyone and encourage their application in day-to-day work. "Our aim is to share knowledge and learn from one another, across locations and across departments. This creates a dynamic process of continuous improvement that ensures our quality and sustainability in the long term,' said Pflüger.
