Mühlacker, 27 February 2024 – CRAISS Generation Logistik GmbH & Co. KG offers its customers extensive storage capacities across all industries: with 20,000 square metres of block storage space in Mühlacker and 25,000 shelf spaces in Karlsruhe, the transport company aims for optimal material flow conditions and extended value-added services. In-house warehouse management systems (WMS) take over the control of all processes in both multi-user warehouses and thus ensure a high level of transparency and efficiency for logistical processes.

"With our multi-user warehouses at the main site in Mühlacker and at the nearby site in Karlsruhe, we are not only able to react to unstable supply chains and the resulting increase in storage requirements, but also to offer our customers efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions with comprehensive value-added services," says Jörg Schneider, Managing Director of Contract Logistics at CRAISS Generation Logistik GmbH & Co. KG.

CRAISS has equipped its warehouses with its very own WMS, which is used to control and optimise all warehouse processes. Thanks to its ability to be easily connected to existing customer systems, the WMS enables an automated, seamless flow of information in real time. In addition to standard services, such as incoming goods, storage, packaging and shipping, the logistics service provider also provides customised services in the multi-user warehouses, such as picking, sequencing, assembly, inventory monitoring and installation activities.

"As a logistics service provider with over 90 years of experience, we know the industry, its requirements and the criteria for designing efficient delivery processes. We solve the logistical problems so that our customers can concentrate on their core business," Schneider continues. The multi-user logistics centres also have advantageous transport connections – Karlsruhe also offers immediate proximity to the Rhine port and links to the rail network.

The transport company currently has over 3,000 square metres of free block space in the multi-user warehouse in Mühlacker for storing stackable goods on a wide variety of load carriers. The storage centre in Karlsruhe currently offers a capacity of 8,000 free shelf spaces of varying height classifications.
